By mailNo: in person or by phone

In person or by phone only. Unitil is one of the few that won't change your name online. Call 888-301-7700 or visit, and bring your documents.

Have these ready

A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
Your account number, and the name the account is in now.

Let Sasha handle the letters

Sasha writes and signs your name change letter for Unitil and every other company on your list, with your certificate attached. It also keeps track of who's done. The checklist is free.
