How to change your name with Spectrum
Married or divorced and updating your accounts? Here's how Spectrum takes a name change, from its own help page.

Spectrum's steps
The account holder signs in to find the Name Change form. You can also bring your new ID and paperwork to a Spectrum store.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
Let Sasha handle the letters
Sasha writes and signs your name change letter for Spectrum and every other company on your list, with your certificate attached. It can even print and mail it to Spectrum for you: no printer, no stamps. It also keeps track of who's done. The checklist is free.
