How to change your name with Reliant Energy

Reliant Energy's steps
Can't be done online. Call Reliant; for a marriage or divorce name change they'll ask for your driver's license or Social Security number.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
