How to change your name with PGW (Philadelphia Gas Works)
Married or divorced and updating your accounts? Here's how PGW takes a name change, from its own help page.
In person or by phone only. PGW is one of the few that won't change your name online. Call 215-235-1000 or visit, and bring your documents.
PGW's steps
PGW doesn't post online steps for a name change. Call Customer Service for My Account (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and ask what they need.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
