Evergy asks you to call to change the name on your account, or to add or remove a name (weekdays 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.).

Have these ready

A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
