How to change your name with Wescom Financial
Married or divorced and updating your accounts? Here's how Wescom Financial takes a name change, from its own help page.
Wescom Financial's steps
Fill in the Change of Name form (one per account) and send it with a copy of your photo ID in your new name: upload in eBranch, take it to a branch, or mail it.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
Let Sasha handle the letters
Sasha writes and signs your name change letter for Wescom Financial and every other company on your list, with your certificate attached. It can even print and mail it to Wescom Financial for you: no printer, no stamps. It also keeps track of who's done. The checklist is free.
