How to change your name with T. Rowe Price
Married or divorced and updating your accounts? Here's how T. Rowe Price takes a name change, from its own help page.
T. Rowe Price's steps
Mail the Name Change form signed in both your former and new names, with a copy of your marriage certificate or decree. 401(k)s are updated by your plan administrator.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
Let Sasha handle the letters
Sasha writes and signs your name change letter for T. Rowe Price and every other company on your list, with your certificate attached. It can even print and mail it to T. Rowe Price for you: no printer, no stamps. It also keeps track of who's done. The checklist is free.
Checked against T. Rowe Price's own page in October 2026. Companies change their process; confirm on their site or by phone before you send anything. Sasha isn't affiliated with T. Rowe Price.
