How to change your name with Service Credit Union
Married or divorced and updating your accounts? Here's how Service Credit Union takes a name change, from its own help page.
Service Credit Union's steps
Fill out the Name Change Request Form and email it to scu@servicecu.org (subject: Name Change Request) with your member number and a copy of your certificate or decree. Or bring it to a branch.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
Let Sasha handle the letters
Sasha writes and signs your name change letter for Service Credit Union and every other company on your list, with your certificate attached. It also keeps track of who's done. The checklist is free.
