How to change your name with Members 1st FCU
Married or divorced and updating your accounts? Here's how Members 1st FCU takes a name change, from its own help page.
Members 1st FCU's steps
Members 1st doesn't post online steps for a name change, and its account agreement says it may ask for it in writing. Call Customer Service and ask what to send.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
Let Sasha handle the letters
Sasha writes and signs your name change letter for Members 1st FCU and every other company on your list, with your certificate attached. It can even print and mail it to Members 1st FCU for you: no printer, no stamps. It also keeps track of who's done. The checklist is free.
