How to change your name with Frost Bank
Married or divorced and updating your accounts? Here's how Frost Bank takes a name change, from its own help page.
In person or by phone only. Frost Bank is one of the few that won't change your name online. Call 800-513-7678 or visit, and bring your documents.
Frost Bank's steps
Frost's account agreement says to tell them promptly about a name change, but it doesn't post online steps. Call (24/7) or visit a financial center with your documents.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
Let Sasha handle the letters
Sasha writes and signs your name change letter for Frost Bank and every other company on your list, with your certificate attached. It also keeps track of who's done. The checklist is free.
