How to change your name with FasTrak (Bay Area)
Married or divorced and updating your accounts? Here's how FasTrak takes a name change, from its own help page.
FasTrak's steps
Update your account under Account Settings online, or call 877-BAY-TOLL. FasTrak's account update form asks for a copy of your marriage certificate or court documents to change a name.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
Let Sasha handle the letters
Sasha writes and signs your name change letter for FasTrak and every other company on your list, with your certificate attached. It can even print and mail it to FasTrak for you: no printer, no stamps. It also keeps track of who's done. The checklist is free.
