How to change your name with I-PASS (Illinois Tollway)
Married or divorced and updating your accounts? Here's how I-PASS takes a name change, from its own help page.
I-PASS's steps
The Tollway's terms say to tell it promptly when your account name changes. Sign in at getipass.com or the Tollway app, or call 1-800-UC-IPASS.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
Let Sasha handle the letters
Sasha writes and signs your name change letter for I-PASS and every other company on your list, with your certificate attached. It also keeps track of who's done. The checklist is free.
