How to change your name with Credit One Bank
Married or divorced and updating your accounts? Here's how Credit One Bank takes a name change, from its own help page.
Credit One Bank's steps
A small spelling fix can be done by phone. A legal name change must be sent in writing: a signed letter with your account number and a copy of your certificate or decree.
Where to mail it (from Credit One Bank's own page):
Credit One Bank
P.O. Box 98873
Las Vegas, NV 89193-8873
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
Let Sasha handle the letters
Sasha writes and signs your name change letter for Credit One Bank and every other company on your list, with your certificate attached. It can even print and mail it to Credit One Bank for you: no printer, no stamps. It also keeps track of who's done. The checklist is free.
