How to change your name with Credit Karma

Credit Karma's steps
Wait until your TransUnion report shows your new name (usually 30 to 45 days after your lenders update it). Then tap Profile, then Name, address & gender, and pick your new legal name.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
