How to change your name with Betterment

Betterment's steps
On the website open Settings and choose Edit next to your name. Upload your updated ID and your certificate or decree. Done in 2 to 3 business days.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
