How to change your name with BCU
Married or divorced and updating your accounts? Here's how BCU takes a name change, from its own help page.
In person or by phone only. BCU is one of the few that won't change your name online. Call 800-388-7000 or visit, and bring your documents.
BCU's steps
BCU doesn't post online steps for a name change. Call member support and ask what to send.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
