How to change your name with Arvest Bank
Married or divorced and updating your accounts? Here's how Arvest Bank takes a name change, from its own help page.
In person or by phone only. Arvest Bank is one of the few that won't change your name online. Call 866-952-9523 or visit, and bring your documents.
Arvest Bank's steps
Arvest doesn't post name-change steps online. Call Customer Service or visit a branch with your ID and certificate or decree.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
Let Sasha handle the letters
Sasha writes and signs your name change letter for Arvest Bank and every other company on your list, with your certificate attached. It also keeps track of who's done. The checklist is free.
