How to change your name with Sam's Club
Married or divorced and updating your accounts? Here's how Sam's Club takes a name change, from its own help page.
In person or by phone only. Sam's Club is one of the few that won't change your name online. Bring your documents when you go.
Sam's Club's steps
Marriage or divorce name changes are made at the Membership Desk of your club with a photo ID. They can't be done online.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
