Married or divorced and updating your accounts? Here's how LinkedIn takes a name change, from its own help page.

LinkedIn's steps
Open your profile, tap the edit icon in the top section, and change your first and last name. Add your former name as an additional name so colleagues can find you.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
Let Sasha handle the letters
Sasha writes and signs your name change letter for LinkedIn and every other company on your list, with your certificate attached. It also keeps track of who's done. The checklist is free.
