Riders: open the app menu, tap Settings, tap the bar with your name, edit it and enter the code Uber texts you. Drivers: upload your new license and marriage certificate under Documents first.

Have these ready

A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
