How to change your name with IHG One Rewards
Married or divorced and updating your accounts? Here's how IHG One Rewards takes a name change, from its own help page.
In person or by phone only. IHG One Rewards is one of the few that won't change your name online. Call 1-888-211-9874 or visit, and bring your documents.
IHG One Rewards's steps
Contact IHG Customer Care with a legal document such as your new license, marriage certificate or passport.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
Let Sasha handle the letters
Sasha writes and signs your name change letter for IHG One Rewards and every other company on your list, with your certificate attached. It also keeps track of who's done. The checklist is free.
