How to change your name with Mercury Insurance

Mercury Insurance's steps
Mercury doesn't post steps for changing the name on a policy. Call customer service or your agent; have your marriage certificate or decree ready.
Have these ready
- A copy of your marriage certificate, divorce decree or court order (most companies ask for one).
- Your updated driver's license or ID, if you have it. Social Security comes first, then the DMV.
- Your account number, and the name the account is in now.
